Shrewsbury, MA - Shrewsbury Fire Department, alongside Shrewsbury Police and Worcester EMS, responded to a motor vehicle crash on Route 20 near the UPS facility involving a sedan that struck an unoccupied, disabled truck.

Firefighters quickly assessed the scene and provided medical care to the injured driver of the sedan. The patient was then transported to the hospital by Worcester EMS for further treatment.

Crews remained on scene to assist with vehicle stabilization and scene safety while a tow company worked to separate and remove the vehicles. Once operations were complete, Shrewsbury Police were able to safely reopen all lanes of traffic.
