HCEMS Lieutenant retires with 31 years of service

Today, HCEMS TRAINING Lieutenant Marita Thatcher retires after 31 years of service. Marita started her EMS career in 1986 as an EMT with Chattanooga Ambulance. In 1991, she began working with HCEMS. In 1992, she received her paramedic license. In October of 2019, she was promoted to Training Lieutenant. She enjoys fishing and spending time with her husband, Lou Thatcher. She is looking forward to spending lots of quality time with him and her family. Congratulations and wish Lt. Thatcher the best on her future endeavors.
