Second-Alarm Fire Destroys Homes in Belmar

BELMAR, NJ - On April 13th just after 6:00 A.M., Belmar Fire Department was dispatched to the 300 block of 13th Avenue for a reported structure fire.


Upon arrival, firefighters were confronted with heavy fire conditions from two private dwellings with exposure. A 2nd alarm was transmitted, bringing firefighters from neighboring fire departments.


Firefighters battled the blaze for over two hours. There were no injuries, and the fire is under investigation.
