Mashpee, MA - The Mashpee Fire Department responded to a reported trash compactor fire, where crews arrived to find the fire contained within the affected unit. Firefighters quickly worked to isolate the incident, preventing extension and limiting damage to the surrounding area.

Personnel from Cavossa Disposal were on scene and coordinated with fire crews to assist in extinguishing the fire and safely removing the compromised compactor.
