Fall River, Ma.  Around 10:00 am on Friday, April 12th. Firefighters responded to a still alarm for a fire at 219 Montaup Street.  Engine 5 arrived on scene and reported light smoke showing from the front door. Engine Fives crew advanced an attack line into the two and one half story wood frame stucture while Engine 4 helped  the driver of Engine 5 back himself up at the hydrant. Rescue 1 conducted a primary search and accounted for all occupants. Firefighters quickly knocked down all visible fire and began overhaul. Command called for the utilities and the Fire Investigation Unit to respond to the scene as well as Special Services/ EMA  to deal with the displaced families.
