Mutual Aid Crews Support Interior Attack at Phillips Structure Fire

Wilton, ME - Wilton Fire & Rescue responded as mutual aid to a structure fire on Wheeler Road in Phillips, with Chief Sonny Dunham acknowledging the call and coordinating the response.


Engine One arrived on scene with a full crew and was assigned to both water supply and interior fire attack operations. Firefighters Ellie Adams, Mike Lilley, and Justin Lowe advanced inside the structure, working through suppression efforts and continuing into overhaul to ensure all remaining hot spots were extinguished.


Meanwhile, Senior Captain George Guptil and Lieutenant Cody Blodgett established and maintained a reliable water supply to support ongoing operations. The coordinated effort highlighted the importance of mutual aid, with Wilton crews playing a key role in assisting at the scene.
