Mastic Handles Multiple Alarms within an hour

Mastic NY- On a recent Sunday the Mastic Fire Department handled multiple alarms back to back. The department was first activated for 2 Automatic Alarms at Home Depot and Leslie's pools . The department was then activated for an outside fire and finally a MVA on Chruch Drive At Wave Crest.
On arrival at the MVA Ex-Lieutenant Chris Gross advised that he had a 2 car MVA no entrap. one of the vehicles was on the lawn. Engines 5-12-2 , 5-12-3 & Rescue 10 responded in to the scene. Lt Rudy Sunderman assumed command of the scene upon arrival of his engine. He immediately put crews to work to clean up debris and fluids and secure the battery on both vehicles. Mastic EMS took care of the drivers of the vehicle. Atleast 1 person was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
