Quick Knockdown Stops Garage Fire from Spreading in Saddle Brook

SADDLE BROOK, NJ - On the late afternoon of April 8th, at 4:55 P.M., all Saddle Brook companies were dispatched to 71 Harrison Ave. on a reported fire. Arriving chiefs confirmed a working fire in an unattached garage. A quick knock down kept the blaze from extending to the home. The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes. Mutual aid from Lodi, Rochelle Park and Wallington assisted on the scene, with companies from Maywood, Garfield and Fair Lawn covering firehouses. No injuries were reported.
