ALLAMUCHY, NJ — March 25th — A reported structure fire prompted the Allamuchy Fire Department to react to Ervey Road. When Captain 91 and Assistant Chief 91 arrived, they discovered significant smoke and verified that the basement fire was operational. Warren County Communications requested the creation of a first alarm and tanker task team.

Despite restricted access and a compromised stairwell, crews advanced a handline to the basement and put out the majority of the fire. While Netcong Fire Company No. 1 constructed RIT, mutual help from the Green Township and Hackettstown fire departments extended a second line. Ventilation, overhaul, EMS, and coverage duties were assisted by other agencies.
