On April 8th, 2022 Leesburg Fire units were toned for a possible structure fire off Center street in Leesburg. Battalion 60 arrived on scene first and quickly recognized there was a kitchen on fire. E62 arrived on scene and attacked the fire with a water can. E61 handled primary search and the home was found to be all clear. The fire was believed to be an accident in nature due to cooking.
