JEFFERSON HILLS, PA - Jefferson Hills Fire Rescue responded to the 800 block of Ohio Avenue in Glassport on a second-alarm assignment, March 13th, for multiple houses reported on fire with possible entrapment. Engine 1, staffed with six personnel, arrived as the second-due engine and was assigned to Charlie-side operations.

The crew stretched a handline to the primary fire building, conducted primary searches, and initiated fire control. All searches were completed with negative findings.

Seven members operated on scene for several hours, assisting with additional tasks as the incident progressed. Engine 2 remained in the borough to cover in-town responses while Engine 1 worked the fire.
