One Extricated After Rollover Crash on I-70 in Washington County

WASHINGTON, PA - On March 26th, firefighters from the South Strabane Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover with entrapment just before the East Beau Street exit on Interstate 70 westbound. One person was stuck inside the car when crews arrived. To safely remove the patient, firefighters steadied the car and completed extrication. After being assessed, Ambulance & Chair EMS, Inc. transported the occupant to a nearby hospital. The North Strabane Twp. Fire Department and the City of Washington Fire Department offered mutual aid support. Before clearing the area and reopening the road, units worked on the scene for a while.
