The Hopewell FD & EMU, Hunterdon Medical Center (HMC) EMS-3 and N.J. State Police - Kingwood were recognized by the East Amwell Twp. Committee with a proclamation of clinical distinction on March 14, 2024, for saving a resident's life on the Sourland Mountain. The positive outcome of this difficult call was a result of excellent teamwork, early CPR and ACLS intervention, and a well coordinated, multi-agency response across county lines.
