Crews Battle Two-Alarm Dwelling Fire in Jim Thorpe

JIM THORPE, PA - On April 2nd at around 9:20 A.M., the Carbon County 911 Center dispatched crews to 514 Center Ave. for an active dwelling fire. More manpower was eventually needed and a second-alarm was requested. The fire caused heavy damage to the rear first and second floors of the three-story frame house. All three occupants were able to get out of the house safely. The blaze was under control in about one hour.
