At 1605 hours on Sunday April 6, 2008 the Mifflin County 911 Center dispatched Box 15-20 to 1091 Loop Rd. in Granville Twp. for a reported trailer fire. Units on the box consisted of Engines 4, 13, 15, 16, 17, Tankers 4, 15, 16, 17 and Rescue 15. Units were advised that they had a fully involved trailer fire with unknown entrapment. Chief 15 then requested two additional tankers be added to the box bringing Tankers 5, and 18. A header was visible from up to two miles away. Units arriving on the scene found a fully involved camper in the backyard of a residence with no entrapment. Chief 15 quickly took command of the box. Engine 13, and 15's crews were requested to the scene with water cans to extinguish the brush that had started to catch fire. All other units were ordered to stage in a nearby parking lot. A 1 3/4 line was then stretched from Engine 13 to extinguish the camper. Personnel worked quickly to extinguish the remnants of the camper. Units were on scene just under an hour. The box was placed available by Chief 15 at 1654 hours.
