WOODSTOCK, CT - Crews from the Woodstock Vol. Fire Association responded to a reported structure fire with a potential occupant trapped in Southbridge on March 10th. While crews tried to control the fire conditions and check for extension, additional firefighters performed a primary search of the building. The Quinebaug Volunteer Fire Department and other mutual aid companies responded to assist with overhaul and suppression efforts. One person died as a result of the fire, officials later revealed.
