Beverly, NJ - In the afternoon of 20th March 2026 shortly after returning from a brush fire, emergency crews were dispatched to the 1000 block of Mt. Holly Road in Delanco following reports of a structure fire with possible occupants trapped inside.

Chief 1200 was first to arrive on scene and confirmed heavy fire conditions visible from the alpha side of the building. Responding units, including Engines 1222, 1112 (Delanco), 1612 (Willingboro), and Ladder 7015 (Riverside), arrived within moments of one another and immediately began coordinated fire suppression efforts.

Due to the intensity of the fire and deteriorating structural conditions, all crews were ordered to evacuate the building for safety. Additional units and specialized resources were requested to support firefighting operations, including manpower and apparatus.

Fortunately, no injuries have been reported. After the fire was brought under control, crews remained on scene until a demolition team arrived to safely dismantle and overhaul the remaining structure.

Officials expressed their appreciation to all mutual aid partners who contributed both on scene and behind the scenes during the incident.
