Richmond-Carolina Firefighters Respond to Brush Fire on James Trail

CAROLINA, RI - Responding to a reported brush fire on March 29th along James Trail and Gardiner Road were firefighters from the Richmond-Carolina Fire District. A working brush fire was discovered by arriving units close to a horse paddock.


In order to stop the fire from spreading to adjacent property, crews moved swiftly to control it. After that, firefighters carried out thorough mop-up operations to put out any remaining hot spots and guarantee that the fire was completely contained. There were no reported injuries.


Engine 612, Engine 613, Engine 617, Brush 614, Tanker 615, and Tanker 625 were among the responding units.
