Faulty Wiring Sparks Fuel Tank Fire at West Greenwich High School

WEST GREENWICH, RI - Chief-202 and Tanker-23 were dispatched on the afternoon of March 23rd to a high school following reports of a vehicle fuel leak. Upon arrival, responders discovered an active fire on top of the vehicle’s fuel tank, which was attributed to a faulty wiring harness. The fire was knocked down and managed by the responding units.
