West Greenwich, RI - Chief-201, Engine-22, Tanker-23, and LMFD Tanker-1 were dispatched to Route 95 South following a report of a truck fire. Upon arrival, it was determined that the incident resulted from the truck losing its rear tires due to a wheel bearing failure. As a precautionary measure, Tanker-23 worked to cool the tires and brakes to help prevent any further escalation.
