East Greenwich, RI - On 30th Mar 2026 at approximately 16:00, Engine 2, Engine 1, and Rescue 2 were dispatched to Shippeetown Road in response to a reported vehicle rollover with entrapment. Upon arrival, crews found a single pickup truck resting on its side. Emergency responders utilized hydraulic rescue tools, commonly known as the “jaws of life,” to extricate one occupant from the vehicle. The patient was successfully removed and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
