Freeport, PA - On the evening of March 13, 2026, Station 70 was dispatched to a reported smoke condition inside the dining area of a Burger King in Buffalo Township. Wagon 70 and Ladder 70 responded promptly to assist crews from Butler Stations 36 and 27.
Upon arrival, firefighters conducted an investigation and carried out ventilation operations to clear the smoke from the building. The situation was quickly brought under control, and all units returned to service shortly thereafter.
This incident was one of several responses handled by crews that evening, as severe wind conditions across the region contributed to an increased call volume.
