Vergennes Fire Assists at Two-Car Crash Involving Pedestrians

On March 28th, Vergennes firemen responded to a two-car motor vehicle collision in Ferrisburgh that involved pedestrians. The City of Vergennes Fire Department responded and aided with many operational tasks upon arrival.


Firefighters assisted EMS teams with patient treatment, while command staff managed the incident scene and coordinated activities. Personnel also set up traffic control to safeguard responders and motorists operating along the route.


Crews inspected the involved vehicles for hazards and sought to make the situation safe, while emergency medical personnel treated the injured people. During the response, law enforcement officers aided with traffic management and site safety.
