On March 29th, members of Effingham Fire/Rescue responded to a fourth-alarm fire in the town of Wakefield, New Hampshire.
Engine 3, Engine 4, and personnel from Engine 6 were dispatched to the area as part of the extended mutual aid response. Fourth-alarm occurrences usually bring together numerous departments to provide more personnel, equipment, and water supply operations.
