The Elsmere Fire Department was dispatched with Delmar-Bethlehem EMS, Albany County Paramedics and Bethlehem Police for an mva on Tuesday, March 30, at 8:20 p.m.

A caller located on Elsmere Avenue stated they heard a crash and then could see two cars in the intersection of the Delmar Bypass and Elsmere Avenue.

Elsmere Fire responded to the scene after just wrapping up a car fire drill at the Bethlehem Training Facility.

The intersection was blocked off for a short period of time while crews moved the vehicles to a pulloff and swept debris from the roadway.

There were very minor injuries and no patients were transported to the hospital.
