FEURA BUSH, NY - Emergency crews were called to the area of 56 Game Farm Rd. at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 3rd, for a head-on collision near the Five Rivers Environmental Center. Initial reports stated there was possible entrapment in one of the vehicles, so Slingerlands Fire was dispatched for their heavy rescue. It was later determined that all occupants were out of the vehicles, and Slingerlands Fire was canceled. The crash happened on a sharp corner at the bottom of a hill. The road was closed in the area while crews operated. On the scene was Onesquethaw Fire, Onesquethaw EMS, Albany County Sheriff’s Ambulance, Albany County Paramedics, and Albany County Sheriffs. There were no passengers in either vehicle. Both drivers were evaluated on scene by EMS, and one driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
