Route 218 Closed Due to Downed Tree Near Trout Brook Trail

Alna, ME - On 17th March 2026, Route 218 was closed following a report of a tree down near the entrance to the Trout Brook Trail parking lot. The call was received at 6:54 a.m. The obstruction is located approximately half a mile north of the Alna Store. Motorists are advised to use Dock Road and Route 194 as the best detour around the area.
