EAST ROCKAWAY, NY — March 20th — At a car accident involving an overturned SUV next to the Lidl Supermarket on Atlantic Avenue, the Oceanside NY Fire Department, located at 65 Foxhurst Rd., Oceanside, NY, United States, 11572, responded on mutual aid to support the East Rockaway Fire Department. Ambulance 408 and Engine 404 arrived at the scene of a two-vehicle collision with one SUV overturned on the road within four minutes of being dispatched.

One person had already been taken out of the car by paramedics and members of the Nassau County Police Department. Ladder 403, Heavy Rescue 407, and Ambulance 4081 were among the other units that responded. Firefighters from Oceanside helped with operations and scene safety. One patient was sent to a nearby hospital by NCPD Ambulance and ERFD Ambulance 408.
