On 03/21/26 station 26 was alerted by a homeowner that their kitten was stuck in a tree for over 24hrs an engine crew responded to find a kitten 30 feet up the tree. The engine crew put up a 24-foot ladder but came up bit short that's when Lieutenant Snyder climbed the ladder and up the tree to retrieve the kitten and everyone made it back down safely. the kitten was returned to the homeowner and is doing great.
