ALBANY, NY - Several area fire departments took part on Saturday, March 19th in the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. A snowstorm forced organizers to move the parade from March 12th to the 19th, but that didn't deter firefighters who joined with community groups, bagpipe bands, and step dancers in celebrating all things Irish. Participating departments included Albany, Watervliet, Menands, Guilderland, Shaker Road-Loudonville, Westmere, McKownville, Midway, and West Sand Lake.
