Mutual Aid Response from Floral Park Helps Contain Bellerose Fire

FLORAL PARK, NY — February 28th — The Floral Park Fire Dept., 1 Floral Blvd, Floral Park, NY, responded on mutual aid to assist firefighters in the Village of Bellerose at a reported structure fire on February 28th. While local firefighters sought to contain the situation, Floral Park units were asked to supply more personnel and assistance. Upon arrival, firefighters assisted with suppression and overhaul operations as crews worked to contain the fire inside the structure.
The fire was quickly brought under control, limiting damage and preventing extension to other areas of the building. Mutual aid responses between neighboring departments in Nassau County help ensure adequate staffing and equipment at working incidents. Floral Park units returned to service after assisting Bellerose crews at the scene.
