UPPER HANOVER TWP., PA - On March 21st at 1:05 P.M., Red Hill Fire Co., along with several other fire companies from the Upper Perk Valley, were dispatched to a working garage fire on Miller Rd.
Upon arrival, Red Hill Fire Chief Mike Eshbach had a structure with extension to the surrounding brush and trees. He notified Montgomery County Dispatch to upgrade to a second-alarm due to the rural area of the township where there are no hydrants. Tankers assisted from two seperate counties for the support.
There were no injuries reported, and the cause of the fire is pending the outcome of the investigation. The fire was brought under control within the 45 minute mark. Assisting Red Hill were fire companies from Milford, Pennsburg, East Greenville, Green lane, Trumbauersville, Quakertown West End, and Souderton. Upper Perk EMS and several fire company Fire Police were also on scene.
