Callicoon, NY - On Friday, March 13, 2026, at approximately 5:50 PM, the Callicoon Fire Department, Station 63, was dispatched to assist North Branch Fire Department, Station 26, with a structure fire. The response included Callicoon’s ladder and tanker units, along with several other departments. Tragically, the fire resulted in a fatality. The thoughts and prayers of the responding departments go out to the family and friends of the deceased. Callicoon Fire Department returned to service on March 14 at 12:30 AM.
