Unity Crews Extinguish Dump Truck Fire Near Station

March 4, 2026 — The Unity Fire Department responded at approximately 8:45 a.m. to a reported dump truck fire just outside the fire station.
Upon arrival, crews found the truck fully involved. The driver was able to safely move the vehicle to a secure location before exiting without injury.
Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the blaze, preventing further hazards in the immediate area. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The department also extended thanks to Bruce Adams for assisting crews during the incident.
