MVFC Assists in Multi-Agency Response to Structure Fire in Frankford District

Millville, NJ - On Friday, March 13, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company (MVFC) was dispatched to a reported structure fire near the intersection of Shockley Town Road and Feather Lane in Frankford’s district. The incident involved a shed and barn that were fully engulfed in flames, with the fire extending into the surrounding brush and grass.
MVFC responded to assist the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company, which maintained command of the scene. Upon arrival, MVFC crews found the bulk of the fire already under control and were assigned to assist with overhaul operations to ensure complete extinguishment and prevent rekindle.
Multiple agencies responded to the incident, including Bethany Volunteer Fire Company, Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Company, Millville Volunteer Fire Company, Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company, and Roxana Volunteer Fire Company, each handling various assignments throughout the operation.
