CONCORD, NH - City firefighters were dispatched to the area of Manchester Street and Airport Road on March 14th for a reported house fire at around 3:00 A.M. First due firefighters arrived to find heavy fire showing from the second floor and attic of a large two-and-a-half-story vacant house. The house, located at 241 Airport Road, had been abandoned for many years, and it was believed to have homeless people in and out as well. A second alarm was transmitted, bringing in mutual aid to cover the city firehouses and extra manpower to the scene. The fire was under control at 4:42 A.M., and no injuries were reported.
