Bethpage FD recently put into service, a 2012 Ferrara Ultra HD Heavy Rescue. The rescue features a stainless steel split cab and a 22' walk around stainless steel rescue body. It is powered by a Cummins ISM 500 hp diesel engine with an Allison EVS 4000 transmission. It also has a 15,000lb Ramsey front mounted winch and a 9,000lb portable winch. The truck has a 30kw Harrison Generator with a cab mounted Wilburt Light Tower.
