Binghamton, NY — March 13th —The Binghamton Fire Department responded Friday night to Clarke Street after a car became stuck on a power pole guy wire near Main Street.

Arriving firefighters discovered the SUV perched on the support wire, with the driver still inside. Crews worked diligently to securely remove the driver while communicating with the Binghamton Police Department to secure the area.

After the driver was evacuated, responders handled the incident while the vehicle was returned to the road. According to officials, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
