Station 45 Responds to Camper Fire in Piatt Township

Jersey Shore, PA - In the afternoon of 19th February 2026 at 14:11, Station 45 was dispatched to a reported camper fire on Susquehanna Drive in Piatt Township. Chief 1-45, MICU 94, Engine 445, and Engine 545 responded to the incident.
Upon arrival, units found fire showing from the rear of the camper with a potential exposure issue. The crew from Engine 445 deployed a line from Engine 3 and quickly brought the fire under control. Engine 445 also provided booster backup to Engine 3 during suppression operations.
An additional tanker was requested from Woodward Township, whose assistance at the scene was appreciated.
