Two-Car Motor Vehicle Accident on Maple Street

Potsdam, NY - On 2nd March 2026 at 4:31 p.m., Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 10 were dispatched to a reported two-car motor vehicle accident near 115 Maple Street. Dispatch advised responding units of one possible patient at the scene.
Upon arrival, crews from Engine 49 and Rescue 14 secured the area and reduced Maple Street from three lanes to two to ensure scene safety. Potsdam Rescue personnel provided patient care while firefighters cleared debris from the roadway. One of the vehicles involved was later towed from the scene.
After the roadway was cleared and operations were completed, Potsdam Fire returned to service at 5:15 p.m.
