Pennsburg, Sunday, March 10, 2025 1:18 PM--------Pennsburg Fire Co., along with other fire companies from the valley, were dispatched to a building fire on Main St. in the borough. Upon arrival, they had smoke showing in the interior of the pizza shop. They used exhaust fans to clear the interior. The cause of the smoke was a malfunction in an appliance. They used an extinguisher to douse the fire. The call was controlled by Pennsburg and Red Hill fire companies. The other fire companies were called off. Assisting the fire companies were Upper Perk EMS, Upper Perk Police, and fire police from Pennsburg and Red Hill.
