Winona Lake FD and Orange Lake FD responded to a automatic alarm smoke detector sounding at 1294 State Route 300 old Greatway Diner on March tenth.

Units arrived and inside diner was haze of light smoke-Orange Lake and GoodWill FD arrived and GoodWill placed ground ladder on west side of building-firefighters 

went to roof area-Winona Lake Ladder set up down from GoodWill-up on roof area found smoke coming from unit on the roof. Deputy Orange County Fire Coordinator 

36-16 was at scene. Firefighters advise the staff of their findings. All Departments returned to service.
