Patient Airlifted to Albany Medical Center After Crash

NIVERVILLE, NY - On March 2nd around 2:00 P.M., the Niverville Fire Department responded to a MVA on Parker Hall Road that involved a car and a small bike. Firefighters arrived and closed the road while EMS evaluated the patient. Following an evaluation, responders concluded that air medical transfer was required. Niverville firefighters set up a landing zone at Niverville Station 1 for the LifeNet of New York helicopter, designated as LifeNet 7-1. The patient was airlifted to Albany Medical Center to receive additional care. Units stayed on the scene until the chopper left and the route was reopened.
