Hook & Ladder Responds to Multiple Working Fires Amid Busy Month for Nassau County Fire Service

Nassau, NY - On 20th February 2026 Hook & Ladder crews recently operated at a third-alarm attic fire in Garden City. Initially alerted to stand by on the third alarm, Tower Ladder 123 (TL123) was on the road in under a minute and reported an odor of burning while en route before being officially called to the scene.
Just two days earlier, TL123 had also responded as the first-due unit to a working fire in Bellerose Village.
These incidents mark the fourth working fire for the Hook & Ladder company this month, contributing to what has become one of the busiest periods in recent years for the Nassau County Fire Service.
