WYANDANCH, NY - on march 7th the wyandanch fire company was activated for a reported house fire. wyandanch chiefs and engine arrived on scene and had a fully engulfed house and transmitted the working fire. mutual aid company’s arrived on scene and helped extinguish the fire and start searches. within 30 minutes into the scene the fire was extinguished. the scene was placed under control within 2 hours later .
