Cronomer Valley and Middlehope FD responded to a vehicle striking pole on State Route 9W south of Chestnut Lane on March 6. Town/Newburgh Police and EMS was at scene-Firefighters assisted with traffic and checked vehicle for hazards. Driver was being evaluated by EMS-Cronomer Valley Fire Police assisted also with traffic control awaiting the tow truck. Town/Newburgh Police investigating the cause.
