Several Fire Departments Respond to Morning House Fire in Palmyra

PALMYRA, NY - The Palmyra Fire Department was summoned around 9:45 a.m. on March 1st to a reported house fire on Route 31. Port Gibson and Newark Fire Departments were among the first units to arrive. As the incident progressed, more mutual help resources were asked to support operations. The East Palmyra Fire Department and the Clifton Springs Fire Department were requested for assistance. The Manchester Fire Department responded as the Rapid Intervention Team, while the Oaks Corners Fire Department offered rehab support to firemen on the scene.
