MANORVILLE, NY - On Sunday, March 2nd, the Manorville Fire Department was activated for a reported truck fire on the Long Island Expressway, just past Exit 70. (5-16-31) arrived on scene with a fully involved truck and a grass fire extending to the woods. He quickly requested two extra tankers and two extra brush trucks to the scene. Crews responded in, quickly knocked all fire down and started mop up. All units went back in service two hours later.
