Midnight Siren Signals Station Emergency, Prevents Potential Fire
Laporte, PA - Residents were startled this evening as the fire siren at the town’s social hall sounded repeatedly, waking many throughout the community. The unusual activation was promptly reported to the department’s Chief, who responded to investigate the cause.
Upon arrival, the Chief discovered that the main water line feeding into the station had ruptured.
