Brush Fire Contained Quickly in Back End of Borough

Boswell, PA - On February 28, 2026, at 4:45 p.m., crews were dispatched to a woods fire in the back end of the borough involving approximately 1–2 acres. Firefighters worked swiftly to contain the blaze and completed mop-up operations in less than an hour.


Boswell was assisted at the scene by the Jerome Volunteer Fire Department, the Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department, and the Somerset Area Ambulance Association.
